Progressive Image was founded in 1987 by Brad Vogl and Sue Ayers who already had 20 years of combined service at the time. Inspired to develop a better concept in electronic & electrical component distributing, they have been successful in building the company into an authorized distributor for over 35 component manufacturers. Over the years it is estimated that the company has dealt with over 20,000 line items and currently counts nearly 6,000 items in stock.

Originally located in Milwaukee, WI, growth led to relocation in New Berlin, a suburb just outside Milwaukee County.
